The legacy called Gudalur Cosmopolitan Club was conceptualized by 6 founder members, Messer’s. John P Zachariah, B. Haridass, C.M. Joseph, K.K Durairaj, B. Ravindran, and B. Venkata Subba Rao, started operating from a rented building. A formal society was registered in 1994 enrolling 30 members and the entity was brought into existence. A one and half acres adjoining plot was then purchased ,and in the year 2006 the Club was shifted to the present Club house.
